Local Author Announces the Launch of Latest Book in the Deirfiúr Series
Martha L. Thurston, author of The Necklace (Book 1), has Released a 2nd Book in the Series Titled, The Winter Witch
Liberty, SC July 3, 2013– Martha L. Thurston, creator of the Deirfiúr series of books for Young Adults, announces that her latest book, The Winter Witch, will launch July 7, 2013. The book continues to chronicle the story of Ashlyn Conner, the main character who learned the truth about her family in the first book, The Necklace. The story picks up where the first book left off and answers many questions that the readers were left with in the first book.
When asked as to how many books there will be in this series, the author replied, “At this point, I have planned for there to be at least four books. I think that I owe that to my readers and to the characters.”
As a special promotion for her book, The Winter Witch, Ms. Thurston has announced that from July 7- 27, 2013 all paperback books sold will contain a special promotional coupon for a free digital book download from Smashwords.com. About Martha L. Thurston
A graduate of Southern Wesleyan University in Central, SC, she obtained a B.A. in Secondary English Education in 2011 while raising a family. She has always been an avid reader and enjoys teaching, as well as writing. She grew up in a small southern town in the Upstate of South Carolina within view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. She is the author of eight books. It has always been her dream to become a writer, and she is happy that she has been able to achieve that dream, and in doing so, she has encouraged not only her two sons to chase after their dreams, but her students, as well.
