I am halfway through the first draft of my current novel and I decided this morning to take the time to ruminate on my next project. As much as I would like to work on the Deirfiur series, I have another novel that I would like to work on first.
Originally, I had planned for this book to be a regular Chick Lit/ Romance novel for adults. Or at least a NA (New Adult) novel geared toward readers 20-30 years of age. However, in a moment of deep thought- and after I had already started writing the first chapter- I realized that this would be a perfect Young Adult novel. I’m really excited to get to work on it. But first, I have to tackle this new work before I can start writing this one.
